It’s funny how much moving shifts your perspective on the rest of the city, alters your frame of reference, tilts your center of gravity. Everybody’s part nomad in New York, circling each other on this tiny island, but it’s inevitable that, despite how long you may try to delay it, you eventually have to, at the very least, find a place to sleep.
